Wheelset DT Swiss 350 CL Straightpull RR411 DB 700c 1620g

The presented wheel set is made of DT Swiss components. A set designed for demanding users who value failure-free, low weight and individual design. The wheel set is compatible with the tubeless ready system. DT Swiss tubuless ready tape is included.

The wheels are equipped with DT Swiss 350 hubs. This is a synonym of durability and failure-free operation. The front hub has two machine bearings. The rear hub is equipped with four machine bearings and a ratchet system ( 18t ) that guarantees excellent freewheel operations. Servicing the rear hub is very simple. Service of rear hub does not require any tools.

We used DT Swiss RR411 DB rims for wheel construction.The most advanced alloy existing for rims meets the most advanced rim profile to form the DT Swiss RR 411 rim. From the moment the alloy is melted all the way to the secret surface treatment, this rim is all about getting the absolute best out of the great, shiny metal that is aluminum. Very light, very strong, very classy is the result. Due to its asymmetric design it allows to build wheels with even tension, making for an even crispier ride. And being disc brake specific brings down the weight even further while staying all black to score high on style points.

The connecting elements between hubs and rims are spokes and nipples. We used the DT Swiss Competition spokes in the Race version. Spokes are butted 2.0-1.6-2.0. Nipples with DT Swiss prolock glue guarantee trouble-free. They are very light and precisely made. The surfaces on which the centering wrench ”works” are CNC machined and not forged. This translates into a more secure positioning of the key on the nipple, which minimizes possible slipping out of the nipple and thus reduces the risk of nipple failure. The Pro Lock system ensures stabilization of the spoke in the nipple. It is a two-component substance, which begins to react after a strong stretching of the wheel, so that after a few hours it can create a ”glue” that will not allow the spokes to become loose.
