The presented wheel set is made of DT Swiss and Sapim components. A set designed for demanding users who value failure-free, low weight and individual design. The wheel set is compatible with the tubeless ready system. DT Swiss tubuless ready tape is included.

The wheelset is equipped with DT Swiss 350 hubs. This is a synonym of durability and failure-free operation. The front hub has two machine bearings. The rear hub is equipped with four machine bearings and ratchet system which guarantees excellent freewheel operations. Servicing the rear hub is very simple. Service of rear hub does not require any tools.

With a welded seam, reinforced spoke bed, and durable 6069 aluminum construction, the Arch MK4 rims give you the confidence to ride everything. When it comes to a consistent and reliable airtight tubeless seal, nothing beats Stan's patented Bead Socket Technology. The Arch MK4 rims feature an asymmetric design with offset spoke holes to improve spoke angle and create a stronger all-around wheel. Unlike most asymmetric rims that suffer from difficult inflation and poor tubeless performance, Stan's BST-Asymmetric design delivers all the advantages of a stronger wheel, with no compromises in tubeless performance.

The connecting elements between hubs and rims are spokes and nipples.

We used the Sapim D- Light  version. Spokes are butted 2.0-1.65-2.0.

Sapim's anodized Polyax nipples are treated with a special coating to increase durability and allow for easier wheel building. Aluminium saves weight,compared to other materials like brass. Sapim's patented Secure Lock technology is a locking mechanism that prevents nipples from untightening. The advantages of this easy locking system are the possibility to use them on a truing machine and that there is no loose function while truing the wheel. Highly precise and accurate machines have specifically been developed to produce this type of locking system. They ensure stable and well defined deformation on the thread and increase the nipple's torsion about 18 cNm (+/- 3 cNm).
